Holyoke Art to Activate Vacant Lot for Community Programming

Holyoke Art is thrilled to announce exciting progress on our vacant lot project at 400 High Street! In partnership with the TDI District, we've officially signed an agreement with Wayfinders, the property owners, to use the lot for community programming for at least the next two years. After this period, the space is planned to be developed for a residential project.

In the meantime, we're collaborating with the City, local businesses, residents, artists, food trucks, and other local practitioners to transform the space. Our goal is to add essential infrastructure like grading, water, and electricity to support a vibrant schedule of community events and activities.

As part of this initiative, we’ve already held a community design workshop to gather input from neighboring residents and ensure the lot serves the needs of all. Once the basic infrastructure is in place, we plan to launch a full lineup of events. Stay tuned for more details as this exciting project takes shape!
